1. Data controller

2. What data we collect and how

This website is a static page: it does not use its own server to collect or store data, has no database, and does not install profiling or tracking cookies.

"Build your route" form: the information you enter (name, phone number, route, number of passengers, notes) is processed exclusively within your own browser to generate a pre-filled message. That message is then sent, by your own choice and voluntary action, directly to WhatsApp or to our email address. The website itself does not receive, store or transmit this data to our servers: you send it to us yourself, from your own device, via WhatsApp or your email.

When you contact us via WhatsApp, phone or email, the data you provide (name, phone number, requested route, any notes) is processed directly by Normanline di G. Caltabiano, as data controller, using the standard tools of those platforms (the WhatsApp app, your email inbox).

3. Purposes and legal basis for processing

Responding to your quote request and organising the requested transport service — legal basis: performance of pre-contractual or contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)

4. Third-party services used by the site

The "Message us on WhatsApp" button redirects you to the WhatsApp app or website, a service provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Meta group). Once you leave our site, the processing of your data within WhatsApp is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy, available at whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Netlify, Inc.'s infrastructure, which acts as our technical hosting provider and may collect standard technical data (e.g. IP address, server logs) to operate and secure the service.

Google Fonts

For the site's typography we use fonts provided by Google Fonts, loaded from Google's servers when you visit the site. This involves transmitting your IP address to Google, under Google's own privacy policy available at policies.google.com/privacy.

5. Cookies

The Normanline website does not install profiling, analytics or marketing cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel or similar tools. The only connections to external services are for loading fonts (Google Fonts, see above) and, if you choose to contact us, for opening WhatsApp or your email app.

6. Data retention

Data relating to quote requests and completed services is kept for as long as necessary to manage the business relationship and to comply with legal obligations (for example, tax records are generally kept for 10 years).

7. Your rights

As a data subject, you have the right to ask at any time for access to your personal data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing (Articles 15-22 GDPR). You can exercise these rights by writing to normanlinebus@gmail.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), if you believe the processing of your data breaches applicable law.
